Well I finally got around to checking my H-35 (not the C version which I think might have "C" under the 35 on the crankcase). Exhaust opens at 64BBDC and transfer opens at 50BBDC. On the crankshaft the inlet opens at 42BTDC and closes at 46ATDC. For comparison, the figures for the H-40S are exhaust 70, transfer 58, inlet opens 40 and closes at 34.
Crankshaft timings tend to vary wildly between similar engines so I don't take much notice of them but with the port timings the nearest to the H-35 would be the Merco 35 at 65/55, Fox 35 at 67/55, Enya 35BB at 64/52.
So although the H-35 has a slightly longer blow down period than most the actual figures seem to be well within what's normal for a stunt type run.
