Shoulda heldthe phone 90 Deg , but w t h .
Is a 112% ? version , 65 inch , of the 57 inch 40/46 version .
Bit Lighter wood as it only has to fly in 20 Kt. air , ands about as big as i think might not take me kite surfing . Wet Field .
The Smaller one was flown in 20 / 25 rough pounding air , and 30 smooth wind .
First Flight it was blowing hard but smooth .
21/40 open Ex on a 11 x 4 ,9 mm intake & C'Case pressure .
Then Std. intake .
or later the HP 40 R P R on the 11 x 5 or 4 if blowing .
Fair bit of 1/8 8 ply ( was 5/32 on the 40 one ) and spruce / bracing .
Idea being you can fly it on downwind , as itll stop there , lines tight , in a gale .
Concept / Layout from 1976 .
