This was the first of two Sheik's Freedom 45's that I made.  This picture was at VSC XX shortly before its demise in a trimming flight.  The second built for VSC XXI still exists and flies better, but is still a handfull.

Here is the other one, flying in the rare clear blue Oregon sky.

Here's Pat's Bearcat on the takeoff climb.

How close is Pat's Bearcat in this photo to the Brodak version?

Randy Powell may be more sure, But I think this bearcat is a Rabe bearcat. So not much like Brodaks,

well aside from it being a bearcat shaped stuntship,,  D>K H^^

Here are a few shots of my XF-11 in action. Powered by
two Saito 40s, which sounds great when they're in sync.
Of all the planes I've built over the years this may be the
one that is the most just plain old FUN to fly.

Nice Russell.

Well done on your first place.

Hi Dennis,
Yes it's one the of cheap "808" Keychain cameras (Weigh about 1oz) which can be bought for a few $ on Ebay. It works far better than it has any right to considering the price.

Don't want to hijack this thread but yes I do have the video somewhere, let me find it and I'll upload it and place the link in the electric Forum. The bird made a few passes but only the one visible from inside the circle. It seemed to lose interest after that.

Rather an ignominious end to the video though I'm afraid, I stuffed it in at the bottom of the Vertical 8 but the camera shrugged it all off and still works. I'm sure I could hear the bird laughing in the distance.  ::)
