Touch up of iron on finish
« on: May 14, 2011, 10:40:34 PM »
I'm finishing my Legacy and it has Ultracote on the wings.  I've got some small dents in the leading edge (I think from sliding the wing into the fuse) and have tried a wet washcloth and iron and had no effect.  Any ideas on how to get the dents out?  I do plan to paint the leading edge.

Thanks,

James

If you have a syringe with a fine needle, inject some water into the dent then heat with an iron, the water will heat and expand and push the dent out. It does work ;D
