After the cut, apply making tape to the wing, covering the monokote at both sides of the cut. Slide the wing back in, but leave the bare wood exposed. Apply your glue, wood glue or epoxy to the bare wood center. Put the glue mostly close to the fuse, that way when you slide it in, the fuse will push the glue over the center strip. Slide the fuse in place and clean the excess glue very well.
Let the assembly hang horizontally by the wing, with supports on both sides of the wing. Using a builders square, check the the fuse is straight in the wing, both vertically and horizontally. If it's good, and the joint is clean, remove the making tape before the glue dries.
