So, no Friday or Saturday play by play ... ?
Mike you noticed, huh?  With the live scores going and Robert about all over with the U Tube going I felt they were doing OK.  Honestly it was a BUSY week or two for me and I just didn't find the gumption...too many projects....like perhaps the 2022 Worlds..at Muncie!  Besides flipping channels between here and the PAMPA scores site would be too much......

I’ll just say I missed the play by play quite a bit. Scores are a nice feature but give zero flavor or context as to what’s happening (like Paul Walker and Bill Rich’s low first flight scores Thursday.) Having a defacto reporter “on the ground” was sorely missed for some of us who couldn’t be there.

Cool. And thanks for the time you’ve taken to post at the Nats, this year and in prior years. My previous post was meant as an observation, not a complaint.

I really missed it too but I thoroughly understand.  Maybe now that PAMPA will be focusing back on the sport we might be able to do things like maybe some webcams at Nats and trials.

Dave, I too am one of the many who missed your live commentary. In fact it is my most anticipated form of Nats coverage. Chris's 'live scoring' is the perfect complement to your commentary. I kept clicking on Live Scoring and immediately scanning the threads for your 'live commentary'. Unfortunately this year, no joy.  My Nats and flying days are over. Sure hope can find the time next year. You're just so damn good at it!

Hi Phil!  So long no see....well I can only thank everyone about their comments.  I will try to keep the program going in the future.  I kept looking at the phone and thinking about getting it going but to be honest, at least for yesterday,  I was thinking I would leave early and leave it hanging in the middle of the broadcast.  I have a daughter ready to give me my fourth grandchild at any moment and wanted to get home to be here for him coming into the world.  (not yet but Liam will arrive soon).  There were also a lot of short 'meetings' going on with various people about the Worlds,  bringing some of the factions together and inquiring about electronic scoring etc., so I just let it slide this time.  Seldom do you have most all the key people in the same place and time to work on stuff.  I'd hope in the future to make more time for the broadcast.  Phil get to a contest someplace so folks can catch up with you!

Well Dave I'm amazed you did as well as you did with your plate so full.  I kept up with the NATS News every day.   Guess you are home okay and the grand child arrives safe and sound.  At Church today after service there was a going away fellowship of one of our great ladies as she heads for Florida with her daughter and I got to hold my great grandson Jaxon today.  D>K
