Selling my stuff on this site?
« on: July 15, 2014, 07:55:19 AM »
      Hi All:

I would like to get your opinions on selling the stuff that I have in the attic on this site.

I would like to get a fair price for it and see that it get to somebody who will use it and appreciate it.  I do not sell on E bay. I guess that I should learn how to but...

There are engines and kits going back as far as the late 40's that I will never use.  All items are in good to excellent shape with no junk.

At my age and health concerns, let's face it I will never use these things.

I have more than 30 planes hanging in the attic ready to fly.  Some need patches in the coverings but are good to go.

       Suggestions or opinions?

                                                                                                                             Tia,

                                                                                                                             Frank

Hi Frank
I am certain that if you price the items fairly you will be treated well by the buyers here....
I suggest listing and pricing each separately
Have fun

I'll second what Frank says. I also appreciate your offering it here instead of Ebay. y1

As stated list your item separately at a fair price and they will go.  Last time I sold something on E-Bay was not worth it.  Also remember the time of year will determine some what if things sell right away or not.

So, why do we still have two classified sections? The one in the "header" is seldom used, often overlooked and yet it's still apparently viable. I'd suggest deleting that button, on grounds of redundancy. Maybe Sparky could do that from Muncie by telekinesis?  y1 Steve

Where are you located?  That's a big consideration when considering completed models.

Think for yourself !  XXX might win the Nats, be an expert on designing, building, finishing, flying, tuning engines - but you might not wanna take tax advice from him.  Or consider his views on the climate to be fact ...

     Hi All:

Thanks for all of the suggestions.

All I have to sell are kits and engines for now.

I will post them on this site to see how thing go.

                                                                                                               Stay well my friends,
