Recognize this older stunter?

I have this photo of an older stunter on my hard disc and I don't know what it is. Judging by the file name it is probably Italian and I seem to recall it could be from the '60s. Any ideas?

Dunno but it looks pretty cool.  Seems to have kind of a short tail maybe, and kindof looks like an Ibeam??

It appears to be a Bob Palmer design. I am thinking it is a Pow Wow. One of my buds bought a Pow Wow kit off E-bay several years ago.

I thought the wing looked a little Thunderbird like; maybe it is a Bob Palmer design. Looks like an Indian on the verticle stab.

Don't know about Pow Wow, unless the builder modified a few things for looks. More elliptical tips and the canopy at least.

I guess the short tail and wing construction probably put the design in the '50s?

It does look very similar to the Sleekster. The different fin shape could be put down to builder preference. What I can make out of the wing construction looks a little different. Or does it

There seem to be more references to Earl Cayton than Clayton, including the AMA plans list.

I found that Ty Marcucci has built a sleekster. I'll borrow his photos.

Sure looks like Ty's Sleekster. What ever it is, I sure like it. It just wreaks 50's stunter. Some of those oldies are just to cool.

Well, it ain't no stinkin Sleekster.   It look more like  Bob Palmer design.  Plus it's spelled Marcu cc i,  not zz i.   It's Italian, not Sicilian.

I think I only have it wrong in the file names. Fixed the text but didn't feel like replacing the files. I am almost sure I can if you want me to

As it is, it just proves beyond doubt that I am fallible.

I've gathered that in the old times ('50s was before my time) people liked to design their own more than now. Maybe picking up some influences from others but then going "My Way" with all those influences. If the result was good a plan might or might not be drawn afterwards.

Hmm,
  I certainly wouldn't like to spell your surname without reference to your post. Then I gave up trying to learn Finnish a long time ago. I decided to stick with the Scandinavian languages. Worked in Hungary for a while on and off and found that Hungarian had some affinity to Finnish, needless to say I never did learn much Hungarian!
  I am stumped as to what the old stunter is. It has got to be 50s. The nearest I can get is the Kismet, an Aussie stunter from the 50s, but that is said without too much conviction.

I am beginning to suspect it might not be some widely known design. At least, not a faithful reproduction of a widely known design in the English speaking parts of the world

Don't know what it is but it certainly isn't a "I" beam.

I looked the other day through my Morris book and a UK catalog of classic period stunters (form GMH's collection) and found nothing very close. It appears to be a bit smaller that the US designs of the 50's and 60's, which hints at British origins. However, the flaps are much larger than what I generally saw in those designs. It may be a Palmer inspired spin-off or perhaps Australian , since he was also popular "down under." The wing also resembles a "Freebird" planwise.

Canopies are minor details but wing construction is totally different.
