To all the PAMPA Members who have received ballots later than the posted postmark date of October 10th:
When that ballot was 'written', it was 5 weeks to the due date. Due to printing and mailing delays, it landed in most people's mailbox on October 9th or 10th.
We want everyone to have a chance to express their opinion on the issues at hand, so the mailing deadline (POSTMARKED!, NOT RECEIVED) is moved up to October 16th.
This allows you enough time to vote and me enough time to count the ballots and have results listed by the first of November.
I hope this clarifies the ballot deadline issue for all of us!
