Well, I haven’t logged into the forum in months and low and behold find that I am the subject of humor, derision or whatever. As my son answered, I am quite able to handle it. I’ll just defend the plane. It is built with a wing built in a jig which I designed a little before the Big Iron was kitted and used in a twin boom combat plane called the Bird. I had never seen the Big Iron when I came up with it, even though the two planes resemble each other. The airfoil is similar to the pollywog chief airfoil without the concave portion. It it a D tube, and I have used this structure in Control line as well as RC wings over the years with success. The fuselage stab and rudder ar mostly flitestreak. The RC Mount changes the nose length. It currently has an OS.30 residing on the nose. Just a beater to fly in any conditions. Green is a Chrysler color, nylon chiffon originally that color not dyed. When I grew up we used a lot of tough coverings because we flew mostly hand launched and it was cheap. Plane is at least 25 years old and still in good shape. I’ll forgo any comments as those that know me know that I am a master of sarcasm.
