Met Dave Trible at the field today. He was already on the circle. Temps in the 60'sF, shirt sleeve weather. Got a very, very short flight on the Ringmaster Canard. Flies like it is extremely tail heavy. Second flight shorter lines and different handle. Was still very sensitive and before the fuel ran out the wind caught it. It will be put back together. On Dave's last flight I think the turbulent wind almost got him. I did get the old reliable Ringmaster up for some loops and eights on down wind side. Wind was very unpredictable. As I told Dave as I was leaving, I have now flown more than I did this time last year.
First pics Dave getting ready to fly. Then the broken canard. Dave's Firecat with McCoy .35 Redhead for power. Last is Dave running another engine of collection. Love the sound of those old Foxes.
