Weather was sunny and hot Saturday, with predictably unpredictable shifty breezes that PO'd fliers and judges alike. Sunday was a bit misty, solid overcast, but much more stable wind direction. Not quite stunt heaven, but not far off it. The following results are from memory, so you know how that goes, and the usual disclaimers.
Beginner was taken by Daniel Johnson over Colton Lutz. Neither did the complete Beginner pattern, but Colton did his first loops ever, and had G'pa yelling at him "That's enough!".

Judges: Pete Peterson & Steve Helmick
Intermediate was taken by Rex Abbott, then Marc Winz and Mike (aka Dave) Denlis. Judges: PW and Alan Resinger (I think?)
Advanced was a spectacular battle between Tom Strom, Pete Ferguson, and an old guy, with the old guy edging out Tom, and Pete trailing slightly. The old guy was judging Expert, so downgraded self into Advanced (scores showed it was an ok move). Judges: Pete Peterson and Mike Haverly
Expert was a real dawg fight (call the SPCA!), with PW/Flaming Dawg triumphing over Chris Cox/Crossfire by 1/2 point, and Howard's Dawg in 3rd, I think 3 points farther back. Judges: Pete Peterson and Steve Helmick
CD: Dave Gardner
Tabulation: Howard
Field Setup: Few!
Teardown: Many!
(many would have worked much better for the setup!)
Where were all the usual suspects that should have been there, but weren't? Turnout was disappointing, to say the least. If the weather forcast kept you away, you messed up!
