Anybody know who this is?
« on: April 02, 2014, 11:17:34 AM »
Someone sent this to me and I don't have a clue but--------
I told him "I know people" so maybe I can find out through you guys.
Looks like Florida in the sixties, that's the best I can do.

I see people my age out there climbing mountains and zip lining and here I am feeling good about myself because I got my leg through my underwear without losing my balance

Looks like Bob Whitley.  If it is, he probably thought it was a glider until someone told him he could put an engine in it.  Changed his whole world!

No, it's Ron Swanson from TV show "Parks and Rec," holding a very rare I-beam FAI towline glider.

The red Ranchero or El Camino out front and the '65 or so Chev in the driveway, plus sideburns and mustache, put this right around 1970. So whoever that is, he's 44 years older now. Could be nearly any of us on this forum. Houses look very California ranch style so I'm going with a California model builder.
