Looks like Bob Whitley. If it is, he probably thought it was a glider until someone told him he could put an engine in it. Changed his whole world!

The red Ranchero or El Camino out front and the '65 or so Chev in the driveway, plus sideburns and mustache, put this right around 1970. So whoever that is, he's 44 years older now. Could be nearly any of us on this forum. Houses look very California ranch style so I'm going with a California model builder.

Well I have looked at this and I think its a old friend of mine. Rob Gow but I am not sure its only been 40 years sense I last saw him.
