If the wind is as hight as it was yesterday here in Gig Haaaaba....I just might try to perform this stunt later today at the SW beachside of the Purdy Spit by flying UP N' OVER the road to the other side of Puget sound.
hope this link flies as well as our CLPA friend "Jake" (last name with-held to protect the guilty.

THANKS MARK...I tried the link...and it worked from here...but just now I tried that link and it....indeed failed but is back on again.
HOWEVER..LOOKING CLOSELY...THIS VIDEO LOOKS LIKE A FAKE...as someone who looked carefully and pointed out that this was some kind of "photoshopped" fake by our friend Jake!
Especially when you can plainly see where he disappears before he flies down behind the pier.and then re-appears after he  lands? daaa?

Maybe they are afraid too many krazzees who are addicted to flying objects on attached strings might kill themselves?

A program on Discovery, I think 'Destroyed in Seconds', has shown some of these kite surfers jumping obstructions - - - and wiping out as well.  Losing their grips and falling onto land, swinging into light poles and other obstructions, things like that.  Makes me think some of those people are either masochistic or suicidal.

And my wife thinks we're nuts playing with little toy airplanes.

BTW, I still haven't beenable to connect with the link after about 6 tries since first seeeing the post.
