NAVY Font

Anyone by chance have a font file for NAVY block letters. I need to duplicate the markings on this FJ-4 but the only fonts I can find on the net costs more than they are worth. At least to me...

Thanks for trying but know about that site and it doesn't have what I'm looking for.. Searching for "free" anything on the net is about the most dangerous thing one can do in regards to your computers health.

I'm not sure this is the font your looking for but it is the standard for military aircraft.
It is called Amarillo USAF. It's good to have on hand in any case.

You might check with Jim Snelson at Control Line Central. One of the services they provide is lettering or stencils for our models. He may have that font available...worth a try.

I went to the following link    http://www.tlai.com/med_des/ausafpro.html,  and looked at Amarillo sheet
I was able to copy / save the sheets by right clicking the image and save as a file.

Open the image in MS Paint, and copy the individual letters / numbers you want. 

See example I did in about 2 minutes

I downloaded the AMARILLO font and use it with my vinyl cutter.  I had to save it to my font files for my cutter program but I finally got it to work.  The AF and NAVY use the same fonts.

The company I worked for had a gun test rig we were firing at a Navy range.  It was the forward fuselage section of the airplane and of course fully decorated.  One morning we got to work and found the some navy types had replaced the US AIR FORCE on the side with US AIR FARCE.  The font matched!  Laughed our butts off!
