SARS, Legionnaires, Ebola, West Nile Fever, AIDS...not to mention Cholera, Scarlet Fever, Black Plague and the Great Influenza of 1919 (that killed my Grandfather at 36 years old)….yet humans are still here...more than enough, in fact. No reason for an Alien Invasion from Mars
Meanwhile, take care of yourselves. Have a beer. There has been some useful self-diagnosis tips provided from Japan and Taiwan.
1) They say to take a deep breath and hold for 10+ seconds...if you can, you're good. If not, then your lungs may be compromised, so go to the ER.
B) If your mouth is dry...be wary, it can be an early symptom. Drink a lot of fluids (that's where the beer comes in!), but keep track of dry mouth symptom and repeat #1. If you wait too long to go to the ER, your lungs are toast.
I'd still like to know what they do in the hospital to stop this virus, since antibiotics are not supposed to work on viruses. But Tom Hanks and his squeeze have been released from hospital, so they must have something that works. Look for medical insurance to cost more.
