I am recreating a version of my Dad's A7A Corsair II that he built for the 68 flying season. I originally built it about 10 years ago when I didn't have a clue what I was doing.  So, I decided that this would be my project this winter.  I redid the tips to better match the original, as well as added a lead-out slider, redid the control system and just generally brought it up to todays standards. It will be powered by a Randy Smith Aero 36.

Attached are 2 pictures of the original, followed by pics of mine ready for primer.  Hope it turns out to be a good flyer!

Here is the finished product.

All Sig dope was used for the finish.  Ready to fly weight is right at 44oz.  After messing with my Zeros the last couple of seasons, this plane feel like it weighs nothing.  Looking forward to the test flights.
