The Plane in a Briefcase
« on: January 13, 2011, 07:24:47 PM »
Here is a very unique take-a-part 1/2A Stunter that is fully pattern capable with a TD .051. It was designed by a creative freind who is an engineer by profession. He used to take it with him on biz trips so he'd have something to fly in his spare time. The wing needs recovering but other than that it is ready to fly. The briefcase holds not only the complete airframe but also a bottle of fuel, control handle, starting battery. and a capsule containing various hardware items. I intend to build one myself.

Impressive.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Lovley indeed, but you would get SO hosed by the TSA these days!   They don't even like unused model engines!  HB~>
