I don't care who you are if you don't follow the rules in the agreement you will not be approved. This is to protect everyone from SPAM. Tell me what you think is this too strict?

Things like using your real name and a good email address.

Yes, I was one of the early people that got on the band wagon when you started this great forum.   If people are afraid to tell their full name, address and any other details, let them go to the lesser forums.   I can still remember when I was not allowed to register on Stuka Stunt a couple of years before I finally got in.  Barton is the second best site for me for all around control line and I followed rules on it.  The Brotherhood of the Ring is the one site that is limited and I can see why, but I am in on it also.  The racing forum did not like my comments on a couple of issues and I was asked to leave it.  So I did.  Thanks for a great site SPARKY and have fun at the NATS. Sparky,

The rules for admission are definitely NOT too strict.  It is not a problem for the one submitting to use their real name as their username where only the admin can see it.  If someone doesn't want to do that then they don't want to be here.

I know Randy just got a ridiculous email from a person who was rejected so it just goes to show that there are really kooks out there.

Sparky or anyone with the knowledge to help,

Can someone please tell me how to change my e-mail address in my profile.  I guess I'm too stupid to figure it out.  I've tried everything that I can find or think of and the thing jusr ignores me.

Thanks

Hi Randy
Thanks for answering.  That seems logical and is exactly what I would expect,...however when I clikc on Profile at the top of the page I get my profile page and it contains nothing that says "profile settings" anywhere on the page.  The closest thing is "Account Settings" but that menu contains nothing about an e-mail address.

I'm sure it's because I'm doing something stupid but I'm at a loss to figure out what?

Has there been a problem latley with signing in? Over the last two days the site stopped recognizing me and would not accept the password I have been using. Had to re-register with a slightly differnt user name. Showed me as a guest as if I had never been here.

Don

The same thing has been happening to me for 3 days.  I had to open a new account and had to use my wife's email address to get accepted.  I NEED SH!! That is just one reason I support your requests for $ each time it comes up!
My original SH user name was Joe Just. Please review and get me back!

Don't blame Robert for the computer ills.   My wife says I'm crazy when I blame our internet provider for the problems.  If they weren't so worried about the money they would lose we would not have to worry about these adult and dating sites that keep popping up when we don't ask for them.   Every so often I have to log off the computer and log back in because Windows thinks I have a site that is not proper and ties up the link.   Yes, I have tried setting the cookies and at one time I could not log into site if I happened to get logged off.   I am learning to ignore all this garbage that I think the internet provider should be blocking anyway.

I would like to mention nothing has changed server side. Any issues that are coming up are on the client side.
