I think this was the 12th time Carl was on the US team, and the 2nd time as World Champ !  I am so happy for him !  #^

Congratulations to Carl Dodge. In 60 or 61 I fondly remember seeing Al Stegens hand launch one of Carl's "A" jobs at the old dirt circles near Cleveland Hopkins airport. I had never seen a model airplane go so fast. Carl just keeps getting better and faster. Job well done Carl.
