Here is some of my accumulation. All except the green plane have the original engines.
The first three were built by Bob Matusiak in the 50s and 60s, He flew them at many contests, including the Nats. Given to me in 1965.
Red Dizzy Bee - Reworked Fox .29X
Natural wood Kansas Twister - Reworked ST .29 BB
Green Proto Speed plane - Brand new Dooling .29 (replacement for original)
The next three were found at a flea market, complete with engines. - $65.00 for the three as I recall.
Purple team racer - Rambler with reworked Fox .29, possible a George Moir engine
Red team racer - unknown design, powered by a rear rotor McCoy .29
Rat racer - design unknown, powered by a Fox rat-race .40.
All six planes will eventually be restored and flown
Does anyone know who might have built them? Check out the AMA numbers.
