I once found a web site that converted line length,# of laps and time into mph. Now I lost the link and cann't find it. Does anypne know the sist?

No need for a web site.

35' lines, 12 laps per half-mile.
42'; 10 laps,
52.5'; 8 laps,
60'; 7 laps,
70'; 6 laps.

Divide the half mile time into 1800 and you have MPH.
For a full mile, use 3600.

30' is half of 60', so a half mile equals 14 laps.

Thanks but the site would let you inout any line length and # of laps. I am going to have to figure out mph fo a 14 lap race on 30' lines.

30' is half of 60' so thats a 1/2 mile in 14 laps. It's an inverse ratio of line length, 60/30 = 2/1. i.e. halve the length, double the no. of laps required.

Use the 60'/7laps numbers.
