Rattler
« on: January 04, 2016, 10:17:54 AM »
There are not one, but two H&R Rattlers for sale on Ebay. It's a friend of mine who saw the one I owned in the 60's and he just fell in love with the engine. I've seen them both and they as he claims. Mine was a gift to Adrian Duncan as it had too much sentiment tied to it to name a price. I was rewarded later though and found two Doug Ward .29's in great shape. His influence on the H&R casting was evident and the workmanship excellent. I really missed out on all the cool WAM stuff being in Seattle

Does anyone make speed pans?  It seems like the kind of thing that these days you'd address with a big hunk of aluminum and a CNC mill.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.
