The best part of model control line flying.  Just go have fun and not worry about speed, stunt pattern or pylon.   Seems I remember we had more flyers back then.  DOC Holliday

m) During the refuelling and the restart of the motor, and until the time when he releases the model aircraft, the mechanic must keep the model aircraft in contact with the ground by at least one point and with the centre line outside the flight circle. During that time the pilot must be crouching or sitting inside the centre circle. He keeps one hand on the ground and his handle and his lines as close to the ground as defined by the F2C panel of judges until the model aircraft starts again.

yes i have a full head of gray hair now maybe the mufflers will hide the gray a bit. i really don't want to be the one that makes us lose our ball-field flying site due to noise .

JOEY I can remember years back when we would go over to the school parking lot and fly all day long, it was always the same people flying. WILLIS, JOHN, JIMMY,YOU AND I. it was like we had RINGMASTERS with FOX- 35 and would fly until we ran out of gas. no one complained about the noise[ no mufflers ] we could not do that today. I think we had a good time PIDDLE FLYING , and if you were to come out to FENTRESS FIELD on SUNDAY you would see WILLIS, JOHN, JIMMY, YOUR DAD and the only one not there is JOEY.
