Four years ago, I bought and started construction on my BlackHawk Postal Perky. One thing and a dozen others, got in my way before I could finish the plane. Now I'm ready to finish the Perky and I can't find the plans. I already have the wing assembled and covered with Polyspan. I will have the fuselage ready for paint, once I know where to install the motor. I was looking up the "Perky Rules" on the Brodak WEB and found out that the motor HAS TO BE INSTALLED IN THE SAME LOCATION AS INDICATED ON THE Perky Plans? Oh! Oh! I can't find my Perky Plans any where I usually store, "misplace", normally "loose", things! What I would like to know is= What is the Perky's fuselage total length from the tail to the tip of the spinner? What is the Perky's total length from the tail to the base of the spinner? None of my CL Flying friends are putting any Perky's together or even own the kits! Any help out there will get me back into the air for the Postal run off.
Eureka!! BlackHawk came through with flying colors!
I recieved by mail, the Perky Airplane Plans, assembly directions, and the Postal Perky Flying Rules, for free! What a great organization!
I can now finish the Perky Plane, enter the Annual Perky Postal Contest.
