Electric Speed?
« on: May 20, 2013, 06:10:01 PM »
Since electric power has become very popular in C/L flying, I was wandering: Has anyone tried one for speed?

If so, what is the (electric) speed record?

It is FAI class: F2G. I havent checked if it is still "provisional", or has been made "official".

I'm aware of some Swiss attempts:

They didn't quite make it to F2A speeds.

Google found me mentions of F2G contests in Europe, during the coming summer.
I built a Blue Pants as a kid. Wish I still had it. Might even learn to fly it.
