Here is the fastest speeds turned in for offical flights at ama contest for 2006. info came from speed times mag. this year the jets got all 10 spots.

#1 joey mathison 203.77 whitter narrows in june.
#2 joey mathison 202.16 whitter narrows oct.
#3 john newton joey mathison 201.49 merced sept.
#4 mathison valentine 200.38 whitter narrows dec.
#5 joann capinjola 198.96 nats

Well there they are the ten fastest for 2006 if i made a mistake let me know and i will fix it . we will do it again in 2007.

bill i bribed the guys with the stop watches. i think it was a good year for jets i am sure that will not happen in 2007 them ohio boys are working real hard at it and am sure they will have a great year this year. that capinjola fella knows what he is doing whith them jets. this is not limited the jets it just worked out like that in 2006 .

Billy you are correct i was just the pilot the jets are lennys work and he did a great job with them i just fill them up with fuel and fly . i sure do miss my flying pardner sin city speed team took a major hit with the passing of Len. but as you can tell by the top ten speeds of the year we are not letting him down . i called him after the 203.77 mph flight and he was thrilled .

You guys watch out for that little lady "Ashley Wilk". I will never forget the first time I met her. I don't think she will forget the old man that grab her. I was in a hurry.
