They did build some beautiful planes back then.  Still amazes me how well they glide after they run out of fuel.   Maybe to slow the new stuff down they need equal span wings on the fuse.  The FAI style looks weird when they run out of power.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

I notice that this is a modern vintage speed replica of Sladky's 57 FAI Winner.  I have a tarp like that I just bought recently.  Who's rendition of Sladky's ship is this.  Nice job.
