.15 Speed engine
« on: October 16, 2015, 04:42:25 PM »
I have Two candidates for a .15 build. A Meteor 2.5 looks to be new and a Taipan Gold head used with decent compression. Would be a better choice for starting a model in this size??

Unfortunately John, the Taipan had a reputation for breaking cranks. At least on the early ones.

I believe a Cox Conquest shaft is a straight swap.

On the other hand I have no knowledge of how good (or bad) the Meteor was.

What model are you building?
