Wichita Scale
« on: September 03, 2012, 08:02:40 AM »
A few weeks ago there was supposed to be scale competition at the Wichita control line meet.   Only seen a couple of planes there.  Took the following shot as Fred Cronenwett was checking his engines.   He told me that being as there was only his entry they would not fly.  Could not even talk him into a demo flight.   He was also showing off the new radio system.

That airplane is one of the absolute best flying ships I have ever watched in scale.  It is phenomenal as a flyer!
