Red Bull Extra 300S
« on: May 05, 2015, 07:47:05 PM »
Here is my latest scale project.
First let me thank Charlie for help with the graphics, my son-in-law for the decals and Jack Sheeks for getting me started in C/L scale.
Mike McHenry and I will enter this in Team Scale at the Nats. (Lord willen) Enjoy.

Blessings
Allen

Looks good.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Allen,
I don't know how you do it, but you just keep topping yourself.

I agree that should now build a super scale stunter.  I know you can make it fly good.

I think it needs more switches on the dash board!  LL~ Are the position aids on the wing tips that large on the full size airplane? Just seem a little big in the photos.
Nice looking model! Good luck to you guys with it. Maybe bring it to the Broken Arrow?
  Type at you later,

Great looking job, Allen!  Can you give a brief description of the materials used in the finish?

Thanks!

D>K The bad weather finally left Muncie at least for a day. I took the Red Bull out to AMA for its maiden flight.
Everything worked like a fine Swiss watch. Plans are to go flying with Mike McHeny and Roger Wildman Fri. @ 8:00am at AMA and fly some 1/2A' scale, bigger scale ships and the big stunt ships.
I got three flights in with my Petra and I must admit the wing overs and the over head eights left me a little unstable and off balance. Getting old sucks. :!

Blessings
Allen
