I stopped off at Wicks Aircraft supply and found Randolph paint still in abundance. A gal. of Randolph tinner was $28.31 and paint was $24.69 a qt.. Here is the color chart, and the address.

Wow, am I ever glad I'm not recovering my old full scale Tri-Pacer at these prices!!!!  The last time we refinished it, the prices per gallon were less than these quart prices!  Wow, ouch!  And with using 5 thinned gallons a coat, whee. n~ n~ n~

I called the local automotive paint supplier Friday. Regular single stage black (for the underpinnings of my hot rod) is $65 a quart; another $40 a quart for thinner...plus 'hardener', and some other 'third-world' necessities (etching primer! Imagine.) 
Hey, guys...I'm tryin' to build some airplanes here!
Durn it! Roadster...back burner.
