NEW STUFF

Ki 45 I built this 20 years ago and crashed it. Last fall I decided to rebuild. Power is 2 OS MAX 25's. Clancy's electronics. 60" span 6lbs.

You can't fault the Japanese on the design of they're aircraft.  She is very pretty.  What is the wingspan on her? H^^

 That's cool. 96 ounces, really? I'm just suprised at that because my 64" span 700sq PBY is 82oz with two Saito .40's and I think I could do it a bit lighter if I did another one.

Allen,
      I hope to be there. As for the weight. It is a scale ship. Fully planked and it carries a battery and 4oz of nose weight. Scale ships tend to get heavy. It has 540 sq in wing area.

What we tend to forget is that our models are way over powered compaired to a real one.  I think the the P-51 comes in at 1 hp / 10 lb.  OF course control line wouldn't fly well at this power level.  My point is that we have amazing power in our models.

Looks great Richard.  From what I have seen in the past, the heavier scale planes had an advantage over the light ones if it was windy as most contests are. H^^
