Here is another source: Just Google the airplane name and walk around.

For example, I am building a semi scale profile Grumman Avenger designed by Don Hutchinson.

Google "Grumman Avenger Walk Around". You will see photos covering almost every inch of the aircraft, inside and outside, from several sources. I down loaded about 100 pictures of the Avenger. 

It is almost a safe bet that if an aircraft is on display you can find a walk around.
