Scratch built , no plans. The AP WASP .061 is a very good engine when you use 3 head gaskets. Th KI will idle and stand still on the ground. They idle at 4200 rpm. I have ordered 4 Galbreath heads with a dozen Nelson plugs to try.

I wondered about those heads myself. Michael has the Norvel 049's on his P-38 and I never did get enough time on them to dial them in. But I know eventually I'll burn out a plug and then what?
I hear the Galbreath heads are very good. I bought speed stuff from him 20 years ago and it all worked very well.
