Guys,
What is a reasonable lap time for a Mouse 1 plane??
Is it 7 laps or 8 laps timed that is customary?

35' lines, 12 laps is a half mile.
42' lines, 10 laps is a half mile.

At the basic Black Widow level, anything under 30 seconds (60 MPH) is OK.  Of course, the hard core racers go A LOT faster.

Hi Mike,
Mousers are often timed for 5 laps.

A 3:00 minute time for 50 laps w/ 1 pitstop will land you in the final in most races.
For example: 15 sec/5 laps  (or 30 sec/10 laps)
= 150 secs/50 laps = 2min. 30sec  + 5 sec start +15 sec (fast)pit =2:50 heat time
Do note that you can be significantly slower than your opposition & still win if you have
a quick start & quick pit stop. Good luck. It's fun!
