Somebody who can get a Fox 35 Stunt to pit in 2 or 3 flips, and run a competitive speed, deserves to win every race. The small number of folks who have achieved this is a large part of the reason for a new engine.
The other reason is the assurance that the first engine purchased will be a competitive unit. The Fort Smith product was too much of a lottery deal.

That and the unwanted vibration were my reasons for switching to better built engines. I just wish that the NCLRA could have settled on one engine for their event instead of opening Pandora's box.
