Gustavo and his son Dylan used to operate out of Toronto.  Maybe Argentina now?

Mmmm... Border line, it looks that I arrive in YYZ on Jul 10 but I see if Dylan wants to pit for Vadim's new sport race model.

As part of responsible training it would be in everybody's best interest to supply hearing protection to this pitman. Modern T/R motors ( & many others) damage hearing, guaranteed. Although the small foam earplugs are better than nothing, no earplugs WILL result in permanent hearing loss. Bring the youngsters up right & correct the mistakes by not ignoring hearing safety... we owe it to them. Good luck!

Cheers, Paul (now permanently hearing impaired, & NOT liking it one bit)

Yea verily!  I grew up in an auto body shop amidst grinders and hammers and other noise-making things; anyone who conversed with me at the Regionals may have noticed me saying "eh?" a lot.

'taint fun, and it could have been avoided by my dad slapping hearing protectors on my head whenever I walked in the door.  Now I wear 'em when I'm around engines, or hammering nails, or whatever -- but all the good horses are out of the barn, I'm just trying to save the broken-down nags.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.
