where do you purchase
how do you modify

I mostly use diesels, so I look out for bottles that will match the screw size of the plastic caps for my Kerosene containers. These are roughly about 32 mm in diameter. I know that they will be solvent resistant, are able to be drilled, and will last for quite a time. Next I look for bottles of about 400-500 ml made of a reasonably soft but tough plastic that will fit the caps. I try to choose those with a "4" or a "2" in a triangle symbol on the base. Babies bottles, solvents and those in which Octane or Cetane boost petroleum products or similar are sold meet these criterion. A single cap will outlast a few bottles normally. Alternatively those for ladies hair products often work well with their own or a different cap..
I then make a "male" self sealing spring loaded device based on a Brass 3/8" RCA SCAT audio connector. The ones available locally have a 3/8" UNEF thread and nut. This fitting is machined to take another machined hollow Aluminium shaft with a horizontal hole sealed by a spring and o-ring as shown in the pic below.
The Delrin "tip" is a force fit into the central shaft.
A similar "female" device sits in the fuel tank.
I'd imagine that the same fuel bottle idea would work just fine for glow fuel with a modest Nitro content.
