2016 F2C Team Selection

The F2C Team Selection was held last weekend in Dallas, hosted by the Dallas Model Aircraft Association. The team consists of
   
  • Dave Fischer/Steve Wilk
  •   Alex Topunov/Aleksander Elbert
  •   Patrick Hempel/Bill Lee
  •   Jason Allen/Bob Whitney (Alt)

Thanks for a great picture and the times look close.  Would you believe when I was trying we were trying to beat 4:30.

No real way to compare, Don, since the rules change that mandates 3mm venturis went into effect this year. Compared to a lot of European and Australian races from earlier this year, we have a long way to go.

The European Championships recently held in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria would be a fair comparison since they used the current 3mm venturi.  Perret/Perret flew just one semi
going in as an alternate with 3:17.7   The fastest qualifying time to get in the semi round was 3:11.3    It took a 3:10.6   3:11.7   3:12.4  to make the final.
Remember, Europeans only, no fast Aussie teams were present.
