Stuntwagon 30 laser cut ribs!
« on: September 16, 2006, 06:28:30 PM »
I got a very nice package from Tom Niebuhr @ Blue Sky models today!

It was an excellently packaged set of laser cut ribs (with building tabs on the bottoms) for the Stuntwagon 30.  They are perfect!  The small tabs will allow the wing to be built on my glass table, and everything is cut so clean that the sheets won't stay together, and the wood is contest grade!

I highly recommend contacting Tom if you are interested in building the Stuntwagon 30 or the Big Stuntwagon.  Ribs will not be a problem if you do so!

I just recieved a Wow kit from Tom and am equally impressed with the quality. I have a set of Stuntwagon 30 plans on the "to do" shelf, so I'll keep the rib set in mind.
Please keep us updated on your Stuntwagon progress. **)

Hi Wayne,

I will post some stuff when construction starts!  I was *surprised* to get these so *fast*.  I had mentioned that I was going to get some ribs and the next thing I know, they are here!  **)

Got some planes that are underway and in dire need of finishing them up before I start the SW 30.  Looking at it, it should be a pretty quick build.  I am pondering what engine to use....... it will definitely be one of my "vintage" engines.  I have a beautiful Veco 29 that is almost new.........  ;D

You can't go wrong with guys like Tom Nieburh in this hobby.  Totally "top drawer".  y1
