Master Airscrew Scimitar
« on: May 28, 2007, 05:42:43 PM »
I wanted to let all know I tried a new prop, well new to me. I purchased 2ea 12x6 Master airscrew scimitar props. I only got two just in case they didnt work. The balance was way off,it took alot. the pitch was way off about 2 pitches. I balanced them and repitched them to a 6. I put one on the mod. Time machine with a Stalker 55RE. These props are the answer for this ship. Night and day. Im pleased with the performance but not with the balance or pitch, but are able to work around that. They are pretty cheap, around 4 dollars each. Might want to try them if your still searching for that magic.

Out of curiosity, I wonder if the 12-8 Scimitar would true out to a 12-6? Doesn't help with the balance of course!

That is funny--I thought that typically Master Airscrew "normally" trues out to less pitch, not more. That's what I was assuming in my reply  HB~> .
