This laser cut kit builds a bigger electric powered version of the Goldberg Shoestring. It is not simply a 42” Shoestring that has been blown-up. After the basic shape was enlarged the nose was lengthened, the tail was lengthened, and the horizontal tail area was increased. The airplane has a 53” wingspan and 630 square inches of wing area. The plans are CAD plans with full size templates of all the parts. The kit includes the landing gear. The kit is designed for a 35mm outrunner and a 4 cell battery. The kit does not include the control system hardware. This airplane looks like the Goldberg Shoestring you remember, but it is designed to fly better. The first kits will sell for $180.00 postpaid in the continental US.
