MAGICIAN 200 was BABY MAGICIAN

An .09 is a lot of engine for a 200 square inch airplane. If you use an .09 you may need a fair amount of tail weight. You will probably need to use a very flat pitch prop or turn the prop over so it is backwards. That would help keep it from having combat ship speed.

Mine is a little fast on 48 foot lines, norvel .061, and a cox 5x3 prop. Will try a 6x2 apc next flight!

Bootlegger:

How about a Cox 049 Medallion? Would it work?  Again thanks...

pat king:
Gil,
A .049 Medallion should do well on this airplane. It is not as powerful as some later .061 engines, but it is nice and light. Medallion engines are very friendly when compared to a TD. The TD .049 engines are great competition engines, but they prefer a pressure fuel system. I like my Medallion .049, it is easy to start, easy to needle, and runs great on suction fuel feed.

Thanks,  Pat

Ed Carlaw:
Hi Pat, how about the Brodak .049? Ed.
