How would you like an airplane that has over 1000 square inches of wing area and can be transported in a compact car? The AREA 51 is a 36” diameter saucer with 1018 square inches of wing area.  The 22 ½” diameter Super Saucer flies so well I decided to design a big one. I have improved some things from the 22 ½” airplane. The high point of the wing fore and aft is 12” back from the leading edge in the center of the airplane. The high point of the wing side to side is still in the center of the airplane. As always the CAD plans have full size templates of all the parts. The first kits will sell for $235.00 $220.00 postpaid in the lower 48.
