Nitrate or Butyrate ? How many coats of dope to the wing structure before sticking down the Poly-span?

Thanks for the video!  I just picked up three rolls of polyspan for $10 today.

Another great video.   Poly-Span is easy to work with and I too use butyrate dope only.

Great video Sparky, and it couldn't have came at a better time.  I'm getting ready to cover my first model with Polyspan.  I like the idea of overlapping the polyspan where the wing is joined for strength.  My only concern would be the wing to fuse joint, especially with profiles.  Is the dope, polyspan strong enough to hold the wing when epoxying the wing in a profile?  I usually leave a half inch of bare wood for a wood to wood bond.

Much needed video and very well done. I personally don't fore see a time when we will not need these important construction videos.

Great video and very timely as my next project will have a polyspan covered wing. I've always used acetone to thin butyrate when applying silk span or tissue to fuselages. Will acetone work in this application?

I'm sure it would but I dont use anything but thinner.
