Dwayne, i am pretty much a mono and rattle can guy myself. A couple of my findings are: No more Duplicolor clear !! I only use Minwax spray polyurethane for my clear coats now. Rustoleum is better than Krylon, Krylon will do if i must use it to get the colors i want as they have a lot more colors to choose from. Use adhesion promoter (i believe mine is Duplicolor bought at Advance Auto) on slc and then rustoleum. Krylon plastic paint is great for painting plastic thingys around the house, just not my airplanes! My sequence for all the bare wood not being covered with mono is, use Elmers wood filler with a little water for a painted on slush to fill in imperfections and grain, lightly sand and then a good brushed coat of sanding sealer( i believe the best i found is Minwax),then light sanding, next a couple of coats of Rustoleum or Krylon and then wait at least 2 days and a couple of light coats of poly(i have not tried the water based). Hope this helps, Ray
