Old type Aerogloss
« on: October 22, 2011, 06:12:09 PM »
I have three red and two yellow four ounce bottles of the old style Aero Gloss dope.  Tossed all five bottles of dope. Kept the bottles, empty, cleaned them out with acetone.
So, as it has been said a million times, Stick with ONE product unless you know for sure  that other products will work. TEST, TEST, TEST.  Saves much aggravation. H^^ y1

Refinished my Nobler with Aero Gloss clear over the old color. I'm a returnee from the '80s and this new stuff aint the same if memory serves me right. It seemed no viscosity was brushable. Too thick it it looked like a plowed field. Any thinner and it ran like mercury down hill. Maybe it's my inexperience.
