Monokote on Carbon
« on: October 07, 2010, 07:26:06 PM »
I have a new project underway and was wondering: Will monokote stick to the Carbon under neath?
I have the pieces doped and covered in carbon, will this allow monokote to stick or do i have to cover in a silkspan or polyspan kind of fashion.

Thank You

And the binder is? Dope? Epoxy? ??

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

The binder is nitrate dope, Brodak brand.

Forget the Monokote and finish painting the plane.  You will be much happier in the long run.  H^^
